Level 1 Health & Safety

This course offers an introduction to health and safety in the workplace. It is ideal as part of an induction process or awareness training for those working in low-risk jobs. The course covers 8 key modules and teaches the fundamental principles required to ensure best practice of safety is conducted in the workplace.

This course is a perfect introduction to Health & Safety training for employees in the workplace. It identifies and explains common hazards which can be found and effective measures to minimize the risks they pose to staff. This course will give a learner the fundamental Health & Safety lessons to enable them to identify possible hazards in their own work and be able to apply Health & Safety control measures.

This course has been designed to suit a variety of different workplaces including offices, retail, education, construction, factories, manufacturing and warehousing. It is ideal as part of an induction process or awareness training for those working in low-risk jobs.

There are no prerequisites to study this course, though a basic understanding of principles of health & safety may be beneficial.

If you have already taken induction level training and need to maintain or build on your existing knowledge, Fizz Training Academy would recommend taking our Level 2 Health & Safety Course.  If you are an employer, manager, or supervisor and you require an advanced level of training then it's recommended you take our Level 3 Health Safety Course.   If you are a business looking to enrol multiple learners, please get in touch with a member of our team who can assist

This course will typically take 2 to 4 hours to complete. However, learners can complete each module at a time and pace to suit them. Learners are assessed by multiple-choice questions at the end of the course.

Please note: Once purchased, you will receive log in details in a separate email from your order confirmation which can take up to 48 hours to receive.

This online course does not provide a qualification itself but does meet mandatory training requirements for this level of learning.

You will receive a certificate immediately on completion of the course. This certificate may be printed and used as evidence that you have been trained in Health & Safety to the appropriate level.
