Level 2 Health & Safety

Our Level 2 Health & Safety course aims to teach learners the fundamental principles in Health & Safety which can be applied within the workplace regardless of job role or industry. An understanding of Health & Safety is imperative to keep yourself and colleagues safe in the workplace. This Level 2 Health & Safety course for employees is an ideal intermediate course suitable for both beginners and for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in Health & Safety.

The course covers the most important aspects of health and safety that are present in every workplace, such as manual handling, working at height, and fire and electrical safety. It also explains the necessary components of workplace welfare, including workplace stress and conflict. The nine modules of this course cover the key content and knowledge required to understand the potential risks in the workplace and how best to overcome them.

This course is ideal for employees as part of an induction, and for those who are looking at taking a Health & Safety online test to demonstrate learning. The course can also be used as part of the on-programme element of the new apprenticeship standards, supporting the knowledge, skills and behaviours apprentices need to effectively integrate into the workplace.

There are no prerequisites to study this course, though a basic understanding of principles of health & safety may be beneficial. Fizz Training Academy also offer Level 1  Health & Safety online course to offer a basic foundation if required.

This online course does not provide a qualification itself but does meet mandatory training requirements for this level of learning.

You will receive a certificate immediately on completion of the course. This certificate may be printed and used as evidence that you have been trained in Health & Safety to the appropriate level.
